The Eligibility criteria of Nepal Medical Colleges are as follows;
The duration of medicine course in Nepal is five and a half years. The initial years are entirely devoted to the theoretical classes and conceptual knowledge about the course and the subjects deeply.
- The preliminary step to apply in Nepal is age factor, the age of applicant should be 17 years or as on 31st December at admission year. The applications of students below 17 years age are strictly not allowed in Nepal medical Colleges.
- The aspirant must have completed his/her 10+2 qualification with subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their main subjects. Additionally, he/she must have passed all the subjects with at least 50 % of marks in each. 10+2 qualification must be completed from a recognized board of council.
- In some institutions conduct entrance examinations to check the abilities and knowledge. However, Nepal Universities also conduct entrance examinations, state views which are must to be qualified by the aspiring students to get admit in medical institutions of Nepal. Indian students don’t require Visa to study in Nepal.
- It is mandatory for all the Indian students, to submit the eligibility certificate and NEET scorecard for verification. However this certificate is issued by the Medical Council of India to the student.
